Is fire dancing safe for events?+

Fire dancing is extremely safe when performed by a trained and experienced professional. Every show includes a safety technician, fire insurance, and strict safety protocols to protect guests and staff.

What does the booking fee cover?+

Bookings include fire dances (approximately 3–4 minutes each) every 15–20 minutes for the length of the booking, your choice of fire props depending on your needs / theme / space, a fire safety technician, and fire insurance. Extra hours are available for an added fee should you decide you want more performances on the day of the event.

How early should I reserve?+

Book at least two weeks ahead to secure your date, especially for weekends or larger events. Reach out to bookings@firemiami.com with the dates for your show to check our availability.

Which fire props are used?+

Shows may feature fire hula hoops, fans, swords, fire fingers, and palm torches. All props are handled by trained professionals. Every booking includes your choice of props based on your event type and space.

Can I book more than one fire dancer?+

Absolutely! We work with many local fire dancers (both female and male) who love to perform alongside Madison for Fire Miami gigs. Performers are able to perform individually, simultaneously, or alternately throughout the event. Just let us know how many dancers you'd like to book when you reach out.

How do I contact you / book my fire dance?+

Email bookings@firemiami.com, or call/text us anytime at 786-980-6767. All bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit per dancer.

Is fire dancing safe for children to watch?+

Yes! Kids — just like their parents — are mesmerized and inspired by fire dancing.

Can I add on any extras like fire breathing?+

Yes — we offer fire breathing, lycopodium (large flames), and sparks for extra fees. Please contact us at bookings@firemiami.com for a full quote.

My venue requires an extra permit.+

No problem. We are able to apply for and get any permits that any venue or municipality requires, but we do require that to be paid by the customer as an extra fee. Usually, most venues don't require permits for fire shows, but some larger venues may — be sure to ask!

Do I need a permit?+

For inside venues, always ask the venue owner if a fire show is allowed before booking. For outside venues — parks, Airbnb backyards, a local business — double check with the venue owner that a fire show is permissible.

Where do you perform? Just Miami?+

Broadly, we are able to travel to anywhere in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County. Miami and Fort Lauderdale are the cities where we perform most frequently!
